I’d never thought about this, but when someone is disorganized with paper files, it’s usually obvious to everyone around them due to the piles of paper on the desk, filing cabinet, and even the floor – yet a computer looks the same to casual passers-by whether it’s brand new out of the box, neatly organized, or a total disaster.
